Throughout July, Cavender’s Western Outfitter will sell paper torches at its 51 stores in Texas to support Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) athletes.

The paper torches will cost $1 at the checkout counter and can be personalized with someone’s name to honor.

“Cavender’s has been such a great partner of our athletes and organization and we are so grateful for their continued support,” said Richard Brown, vice president of Resource Development for Special Olympics Texas.

SOTX provides sports competition and training for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All proceeds from the sales will go to this cause.

This is the third year for the campaign. The store has raised nearly $25,000 since 2015.
