Dvorak, Federici Advances to ITA All-American Finals

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Seniors Sarah Dvorak and Sabrina Federici continued to make Texas Tech Women's Tennis history as they punched their ticket to the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships doubles final.
 
The pair opened with a 6-1 win in set one over Duke's Samantha Harris and Kelly Chen. The Blue Devils forced a tiebreaker with a 6-0 set two win, but the Lady Raiders didn't let up as they took the tiebreak 10-6.
 
No. 8 doubles pair Dvorak and Federici have picked up wins over two Top 15 pairs on their way to the final match of the tournament. They will face No. 25 Kaitlyn McCarthy and Ellyse Hamlin (Duke) in the finals on Sunday after 2 p.m. (CT).
 
Senior Gabriela Talaba fell in straight sets to Fernanda Contreras, ending her run in the tournament.
