Texas Tech Women's Tennis begin dual match play at Washington

LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 8 Texas Tech Women’s Tennis team kicks off dual match play at Washington on Friday at 2 p.m. CT.

This will be the second meeting between the Lady Raiders and Huskies. The first matchup was on Feb. 22, 2016 when Tech defeated Washington, 4-2, in Lubbock.

Washington will provide live stats and a live stream on their website.

The Lady Raiders opened the 2018 season at the Michigan Invitational last weekend. As a team, they picked up 11 singles wins and five doubles wins. Seniors Sarah Dvorak and Sabrina Federici led the team with a 3-0 weekend in singles play.

Dvorak captured wins over two ranked opponents in the no. 3 position.

UP NEXT

The Lady Raiders will host Saint Mary’s (CA), Wichita State and FIU for the ITA Kickoff Weekend next Friday and Saturday.
