LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 25 Texas Tech men’s tennis team gears up for another challenging home weekend with three matches at the McLeod Tennis Center.

“This weekend, we have three more tough matches,” Texas Tech head coach Brett Masi said. “I want to see us continue to move forward with our development in becoming the players we want to be. I believe we can accomplish those things as long as we learn from our mistakes from last weekend and compete at a high level.”
The Red Raiders have posted a 28-11 singles record during the dual match campaign. Jackson Cobb, Connor Curry, Pyry Hyrkkonen and Matheus Leite have each posted four consecutive victories.
Curry has won all four of his decisions at the top of the lineup, while Ilgiz Valiev has notched a combined 3-0 mark between the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions.
