LUBBOCK, Texas -

Following a week that featured an overtime, buzzer-beating thriller over the Longhorns in Lubbock and a commanding win in Fort Worth over the Horned Frogs, the Red Raiders (19-4, 7-3) moved up three spots to 7th in this week's AP Poll. This ties the program's highest ranking and also ties the most weeks in the top 10 in a season.

Villanova, Virginia and Purdue are at the top for the fourth straight week. After an unexpected loss to St John's, Duke has dropped to 9th.

Other Big 12 teams:
Kansas 10th
Oklahoma 17th
West Virginia 19th

Looking at conference standings, Texas Tech is tied with Kansas atop the Big 12 after KU and Oklahoma lost Saturday.

Tech will try to extend the win streak to five games Wednesday night, hosting Iowa State at 8. Then the team plays at Kansas State Saturday night.
