LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 11 Texas Tech Women’s Tennis team is set to host its third consecutive NCAA regional tournament this weekend at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The Lady Raiders (20-6) welcome Army, Princeton and Illinois to Lubbock for the two-day tournament. Princeton (19-3) will face off with Illinois (21-5) in the first match on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Texas Tech and Army (21-6) at 1 p.m.
Texas Tech was selected as the No. 11 national seed in the NCAA Lubbock Regional on Tuesday afternoon during the Selection Show on NCAA.com.
This is the seventh straight season for the Lady Raiders to earn a berth to the NCAA Tournament. Tech has advanced to the Sweet 16 in the last three seasons and achieved an Elite Eight berth just last season.

Match 1: Illinois vs. Princeton -- 10 a.m.
Match 2: No. 16 Texas Tech vs. Army West Point -- 1 p.m.
Saturday, May 12 -- Second Round
Match 3: Match 1 winner vs. Match 2 winner – 1 p.m.
