LUBBOCK, Texas -

After starting the first few minutes playing from behind, 18th-ranked Texas Tech broke a 14-14 tie with about 10:45 to go in the first half and never looked back. A stark contrast to Saturday's outing at Kansas, the Red Raiders' offense was clicking.

Tech led 36-21 at the half. The lead grew to as large as 39 in the second half.

Brandone Francis led the Red Raiders with 16 points, followed by Jarrett Culver 12 and Davide Moretti 11. Tech shot 53% from the field, 36% from three.

Derek Culver was the only Mountaineer in double figures, with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

West Virginia's Logan Routt, despite not playing a second on the floor, was ejected for tripping Matt Mooney from the Mountaineer bench.

The Red Raiders (18-5, 6-4) will travel to Norman to face OU Saturday afternoon at 3.
