LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 25 Texas Tech Women's Tennis team is set to face two ranked opponents this weekend as the Lady Raiders travel to the state of Kansas for matches on Friday and Sunday.
Texas Tech will face No. 17 Kansas on Friday at 5 p.m. and No. 48 Kansas State on Sunday at 11 a.m.
This is the 26th meeting between the Lady Raiders (13-4, 3-0) and the Jayhawks (11-4, 2-2). The Lady Raiders own the all-time series, 15-10, and have won 13 of the last 14 matchups. Kansas won the match last year, upsetting the Lady Raiders, 4-0.
Sunday's match will mark the 32nd meeting between Texas Tech and K-State (10-7, 0-4). The Lady Raiders have won 11 straight matches including six sweeps over the Wildcats.
Texas Tech enters the weekend on a six-match win streak after defeating TCU, 4-2, in Fort Worth. The Lady Raiders snapped TCU's nine-match win streak at home.
Kansas enters the matchup after a 2-2 showing in the first two weeks of Big 12 play. The Jayhawks defeated Baylor, 6-1 on Friday before falling to No. 18 Texas, 4-3, on Sunday.

The Lady Raiders return to the McLeod Tennis Center to host Baylor on Thursday, April 4, at noon. Then, Texas Tech travels to Austin, Texas, to face Texas on Sunday, April 7, at noon.
