ANAHEIM, California -

It's a program first. Texas Tech Men's Basketball is headed to the Final Four.

After cutting down the nets in Anaheim, we got reaction from several players.

"One of Beard's biggest things is urgency," grad transfer Tariq Owens said. "When I first got here, Beard actually gave me a T-shirt that said urgency on the back," he said referring to one year he knew he had at Tech.

"That's been one big thing for me this year, is just be urgent."

After Owens swatted a shot late, he was able to toss it to Brandone Francis.

"So that block kind of saved us, I was just glad I was there to catch it for him," Francis said.

Big 12 player of the year Jarrett Culver said it was a team effort.

"Big plays, Moro [Davide Moretti] made a big shot, Matt [Mooney]. Tariq had a big block. At the end, we made big plays and we won. Those big plays helped."

As for his hometown Lubbock, Culver is humble and thankful.

"The city's done so much for me. This is a little piece that I hope I can do for them and the team."

"Hopefully we're not done yet."
