Led by Lindy Waters III's seven three pointers, the Oklahoma State Cowboys pushed Texas Tech to the limit.

Coach Chris Beard warned his guys about the Cowboys.

"We expected this, told the guys all week they'll play great," Beard said after the game.

Waters hit from long range at the regulation buzzer. It was one of five threes made in the last minute of regulation and overtime. He finished with a career-high 26 points.

The Red Raiders managed to claw out a win. Davide Moretti sealed the game with two free throws, Tech won 84-80. Moretti lead the team with 20 points. He was perfect from the charity stripe. Jarrett Culver had 19, Tariq Owens 16.

Tech (23-5, 11-4), tied with Kansas State atop the Big 12, will play at TCU Saturday. The Red Raiders will then host Texas Monday and close the regular season at Iowa State March 9.
